Posted on: 30-November--0001We are living in a country that is going through the massive issue of poverty. Today the poverty rate in Pakistan is 9.2% and people in our society are starving to death. Not only poverty is an issue in Pakistan. There are many other problems that people are facing all across the country. Today they are looking for help. They are looking for the hope that somebody will rise to the occasion and make some humanitarian efforts to make their tomorrow better.
We can help people who are stranded and really looking for help by volunteering. Volunteering is one of the most important aspects to help out other people in our society. Volunteering provides essential help to those in need, deserving causes, and the community, but the advantages can also extend to you, the volunteer. In addition to many other benefits, volunteering and helping others can lower stress, treat depression, raise happiness and employability, keep you active, improve your social life and sense of purpose, and much more. Volunteering doesn't have to include a long-term commitment or take a lot of time out of your busy day, although it is true that the more you volunteer, the more benefits you'll enjoy. Even small acts of generosity can benefit those in need and enhance your health and happiness. Depending on your schedule and interests, it could be just one hour a year or every week.
Volunteering means giving back to society. As we know that they are people who live in rural areas, and are suffering because they don’t have their basics even though they are looking for clean water to drink. But by doing volunteer activities we can raise their cause. We can become their voice, so their issue gets resolved.
By doing volunteerism you can learn so much about how the world functions by being involved in a community and surrounding yourself with individuals who are committed to making the world a better place. Serving individuals around you give you a certain sense of purpose that frequently shows up in other aspects of your life.
Of course, your community needs it as well! Many of the services and activities we take advantage of in our communities would not be as accessible without volunteers.
